My name is Sabrina. I am a two year old fawn pug who lives with my three humans and my brother-cat Shinobi.
I came to live with my family last February. I don’t remember much about my life before that. I know that I didn’t have a nice warm bed to sleep in or soft couches to lay on. I was rescued from my previous life by the Boston Terrier & Pug Rescue of Southern Manitoba along with my brother, sister and mom.
My human mum tells me that some dogs work at being smart and some work at being cute, and I am very, very cute. I think there may be some kind of insult here………
My other two humans have been away for a while, Mum says they are working far, far away and won’t come home until the snow comes. Mum thought starting this blog could be a nice way to let my other humans know what I have been up to while they are away. And hey, there may be others out there who want to follow my tails too.
It’s the weekend! I love weekends. Weekends mean Mum is home with me almost all day and I don’t have to go in my kennel.
Today we went for a long walk in the forest. There is a nice trail behind my yard that leads into the Assiniboine Forest Park. There are lots of trails in the park; it’s kind of like a maze.
Mum took my leash off when we got in the park. Usually I only get to go without my leash in the dog park, so today’s walk was extra special. I like it when I’m allowed to walk without my leash because it means I get to stop and sniff to my heart’s content. I do sometimes get scared when Mum get’s too far ahead of me.
I was so tired when I got home, I laid down on the couch and went right to sleep.
