Confessions of a camera hog

My name is Sabrina and I am a camera hog.

There, I’ve admitted to the world. Or at least to you dear reader.

When my mum first started this blog oh so long ago – last November – I was somewhat frightened by the camera. It made scary beeping noises and the flash so bright. Then there was the whole posing aspect. Mum would try to get me to sit here, look there – it was all so confusing.
But patience, time and liver treats can work wonders. And it did not take long for me to come running to the sound of the camera being turned on. Slowly but surely I am getting more comfortable with being placed and posed on different surfaces and in different outfits. I’m not sure there are enough liver treats in the world  for me to ever like wearing hats like that silly New Years hat, but who knows, I may eat may words yet.

Anyway, mum’s new camera is a whole bunch better than her other one and it doesn’t need the flash as often. I don’t have to tell you how much better that will be. Not only will I be able to see after the picture has been taken, but my eyes will actually start appearing their natural brown in pictures, rather than the horrid blue/green glow the flash causes.
During the Christmas my camera hogging became much more evident. Whenever the camera came out, I did my best to get in the shot, even if I was not the intended model. I even threw myself down on the floor at one point and demanded my picture be taken.

Sometimes we all do things we are not proud of. You know what they say about how it’s hard to be humble………..
……………but for the camera, I’ll try.

About Sabrina's Pug Tails

My name is Sabrina. I am a three year old fawn pug who lives with my three humans and my brother-cat Shinobi. I came to live with my family in February of 2010. I don’t remember much about my life before that. I know that I didn’t have a nice warm bed to sleep in or soft couches to lay on. I was rescued from my previous life by the Boston Terrier & Pug Rescue of Southern Manitoba along with my brother, sister and mom. My human mum tells me that some dogs work at being smart and some work at being cute, and I am very, very cute. I think there may be some kind of insult here………
