Pug party – a Bugalicious birthday

Yesterday was the semi-monthly Pug meet-up. The organizers are tying something new and so they decided that this meet-up would also celebrate the birthday of one of its members.

This is Penny and her mum. Penny is a Bugg (Pug/Boston Terrier mix).  She was celebrating her first birthday. Isn’t she cute?

There were gifts for Penny and even more important – cake! Doggy cake!

Thank you Lindsay for making this yummy birthday cake!

I didn’t get cake for my birthday. How can I say that I am a pampered Pug if I don’t get a cake for my birthday? Maybe next year Lindsay will show my mum how to make one for me, and then she’ll have no excuse.

Anyway, aside from the birthday celebrations I got to see a bunch of my good friends: Harley & Hannah, Phil, Max and Malo. That Malo thinks he’s such a Casanova. Oh, and my brother Bozley was there too. There were a bunch of other Pugs there as well, and other dogs too.

Jill wasn’t there though. Jill is one of the other Pugs I was rescued with. The humans are pretty sure she is my mom. I miss Jill and I don’t have any pictures of her yet.  I sure hope Jill will be able to come to a meet-up soon.   Maybe her daddy will bring her to the next one.

Mum took some pictures of my friends with her older camera and non of them turned out. I guess you can look at pictures of the last Pug Party instead.

Sadly, Timmy had to stay home. He had his second vaccination on Friday and has to wait two more weeks before he can be in big groups of dogs. Next time Timmy, I promise.

Timmy was very sad to be told he had to stay home while I went off to party.

About Sabrina's Pug Tails

My name is Sabrina. I am a three year old fawn pug who lives with my three humans and my brother-cat Shinobi. I came to live with my family in February of 2010. I don’t remember much about my life before that. I know that I didn’t have a nice warm bed to sleep in or soft couches to lay on. I was rescued from my previous life by the Boston Terrier & Pug Rescue of Southern Manitoba along with my brother, sister and mom. My human mum tells me that some dogs work at being smart and some work at being cute, and I am very, very cute. I think there may be some kind of insult here………

I will give Jill’s dad trouble for not bringing her to see you, Sabrina! It’s been too long! And when it’s your birthday, Sabrina, I will happily make you a cake!

  2. That looked like such a fun party! I have never been to a doggy party. Mom! Time for some socializing!

I went to Penny’s birthday yesterday with the brothers. Deuce is so Alpha, I told Mommy it is embarrassing. Mommy told Lindsay about having a small birthday Party with the Play Group for the Pugs that were interested. Of course, it is known that I LOVE toys and I even have my name on Karen’s Specials of the month. There are a few cute chicks there but I really just like playing. Dad had to take us as Mommy is not feeling too well and I had to go home and be with her. I hope Penny liked her toys and I can’t wait til the next Play Group. Alfie

    • Hi Alfie, I’m sorry to hear your mommy is not feeling well. Please send her some Pug snuggles from me and Timmy to wish her better again.
I saw you there yesterday, you sure looked like you were having a good time. Yea, Deuce was being a bit grouchy but he wasn’t all that bad. I do have to admit, he really is quit the handsome man. Mum was hoping to get a nice picture of him but none turned out. 😦
      Licks,
