Never again

Never, never, never, never take me back to that place ever again.

I don’t care who you want me to meet or how good a deed it is for.

The City dog pound is loud, smells of fear & anxiety and scared the bejesus out of me.

I knew you were with me and so I was safe, but with that much scariness going on, I couldn’t help but shake like a………. well, I shook a lot.

Just so we are clear.

About Sabrina's Pug Tails

My name is Sabrina. I am a three year old fawn pug who lives with my three humans and my brother-cat Shinobi. I came to live with my family in February of 2010. I don’t remember much about my life before that. I know that I didn’t have a nice warm bed to sleep in or soft couches to lay on. I was rescued from my previous life by the Boston Terrier & Pug Rescue of Southern Manitoba along with my brother, sister and mom. My human mum tells me that some dogs work at being smart and some work at being cute, and I am very, very cute. I think there may be some kind of insult here………

Aww! Poor Sabrina! You look scarred for life! It is so terrifying to think about all those doggies that don’t have homes. They are so scared. Tell your mom that you need extra treats and scratches to feel better!

  2. Sabrina,
We are such lucky puggies in that we will never end up in the pound! I’m sorry you had to experience the atmosphere, if only for a few minutes.
    Love, Marlene

Poor Baby!! How could the momma take you to such a place???? You deserve lots of treats and lovin’s for being subjected to such trauma!!! We’re sending kisses to make you feel better!!

  4. Hi Sabrina
Been there, done that. The Humane Society is where I got my shots AND had my girly operation. But you know . . . even the lovely dog park there could not woo me back. I smelled the fear and anxiety there too. It was not pretty.
    Love Noodles

I am sorry you had to experience that , Sabrina. I would like to send you kisses and licks to make you feel better, if I could. Hopefully your Mommy has given you some extra treats for having to see that bad place. I am sending you all my best to make you feel better. Love, Alfie

  6. Southern Fried Pugs says:

Our friend Lilo was in the SPCA for a while before she found her forever home. She was rescued from a puppy mill. Fortunately, she found a great home and never has to go into one of those places again.
