Ready for my holidays

The Will and mum have started their holidays as of today. We’re going camping.

I’m all packed and ready to go. I’ve got my Sock Monkey Bed, a couple of deer antlers, my cooling vest & leashes and a bag of food all packed.

I love camping all the smells and all the food! I can’t wait.

Wait, what’s this? A letter to Uncle with Pug-care instructions? Why does Uncle need to know how to take care of me? Is he coming  camping too?

No?

I don’t understand.

About Sabrina's Pug Tails

My name is Sabrina. I am a three year old fawn pug who lives with my three humans and my brother-cat Shinobi. I came to live with my family in February of 2010. I don’t remember much about my life before that. I know that I didn’t have a nice warm bed to sleep in or soft couches to lay on. I was rescued from my previous life by the Boston Terrier & Pug Rescue of Southern Manitoba along with my brother, sister and mom. My human mum tells me that some dogs work at being smart and some work at being cute, and I am very, very cute. I think there may be some kind of insult here………

Oh, no…say it ain’t so! How could they?!? You were such a good camper last time! Well, maybe you can talk your uncle into extra treats. That would be a good weekend!

    • Sabrina’s mum:
Payton, I know I’m a horrible person for leaving Sabrina behind, and I feel really bad for it. Honest.
I had real concerns about tenting in the heat wave we’ve been having. Sabrina didn’t eat for two days after her last camping trip and I know it’s mainly due to the constant overheating followed by getting a chill from being dunked in the lake. And that was a 2 day trip.
We are headed to the States as part of our trip and promise to pick up something really cool for our little Puggy.

Ok, as long as you get her the coolest thing ever. I can understand about the heat. It’s finally going to drop into the high 80’s this week after weeks of near 100 degree weather. My mom is going to get my cooling vest supplies this weekend, so wish us luck on that project! Have fun camping!
        Love,
        Payton
