Good-bye dear friend

I heard some very sad news yesterday.

My dear friend Max has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He was a very young 11 years old.

He and his brother Malo came and stayed with us for the Labour Day weekend last year. Max managed to avoid the affections of the very amorous Gizmo who had his sights on Malo for the whole weekend.

We almost lost Max last summer during the Canada Day/Birthday Party when tried to inhale birthday cake wayyyyyy faster than he could swallow it. It was a good thing his human was right there and knew what to do. She brought him back from the brink so he could party on with us. This Canada Day I will keep him in my heart and my thoughts.

Please send some internet hugs to Max’s human who is missing him very much today, and in the days to come.

You were a good Pug and a good friend Max. I miss you dearly.
Love,
Sabrina

About Sabrina's Pug Tails

My name is Sabrina. I am a three year old fawn pug who lives with my three humans and my brother-cat Shinobi. I came to live with my family in February of 2010. I don’t remember much about my life before that. I know that I didn’t have a nice warm bed to sleep in or soft couches to lay on. I was rescued from my previous life by the Boston Terrier & Pug Rescue of Southern Manitoba along with my brother, sister and mom. My human mum tells me that some dogs work at being smart and some work at being cute, and I am very, very cute. I think there may be some kind of insult here………

Sorry for your loss Lindsay. Max was such a sweet little guy. He always made me laugh. I remember the photo of him dusted in flour and the Canada Day party when we clipped his nails and was being a squirmy worm. He will always hold a special place in everyone’s hearts and will be waiting for you Rainbow Bridge. 😦 RIP Max
